Google Drive
The Google Drive connection gives the AI assistant in AI-Corporate read-only access to your files in Google Drive. This lets you search documents and have their content read and summarized. The connection cannot create, change, move or delete files.
Requirements
- Your administrator has enabled Google Workspace in the admin environment, via Tools → MCP → Suite presets.
- You are allowed to use connections in your environment.
- You have a Google account with access to the files you want to use, for example your work account.
- You choose an available AI model that can use tools. The connection is not limited to OpenAI.

- Under Tools settings → Integrations, in Provided by your organization, turn on the switch for Google Drive.
- Sign in with your Google account and grant permission for read-only access to Drive.
- Start a chat and ask your question. Google Drive is now available in your chats by default.
You can also click Google Drive in the Tools block on the dashboard. You will then sign in to Google if needed, and a chat with this connection starts immediately.

The Google Drive connection only requests read access:
- ✅ Search and read files your Google account has access to
- ✅ Read metadata (name, date, owner)
- ❌ No uploading or creating files
- ❌ No changing or deleting files
Access tokens are encrypted and stored server-side only. If you turn off the last Google connection in Preferences, the connection to your Google account is removed. You can also revoke access via Google Account Security.
