Generate Images
The Generate Images tool (generate_images) enables the AI to generate images based on your descriptions. This tool is perfect for creating illustrations, visualisations and creative business content.
How it works
When you ask the AI to create an image, the model interprets your description and generates suitable images. The images are displayed directly in the chat.
This article is about the tool that the AI can use from a regular chat. Would you rather open image mode directly yourself and choose settings such as model, size, style, colour preference, variants and reference images? Then read Text to Image.
For images created with this tool in a regular chat, you can use the model button on the answer to regenerate with a different image model. In direct image mode, you manage the model and the other options beforehand via the input field.

Creating images directly
In addition to this tool, there is also a direct input mode: Text to Image. There you deliberately choose image generation and can manage settings yourself. This is useful when you want more control over size, style, colours, variants, inspiration images or editing an existing image.
